Noryl – PPO – Polyphenylene Oxide

Noryl® PPO material is used frequently in fluid handling applications due to the very low moisture absorption.
Noryl is similar to Acetal and P.E.T. but carries a better UL rating.
Noryl rods and Noryl sheets are in stock and available in a number of sizes in black. It is great for electrical applications requiring high die-electric strength. Noryl is a trade name of Sabic Plastics (formerly GE Plastics).
Noryl is a High Tech Performance Plastic.

This material is a strong engineering plastic with excellent mechanical, thermal and electrical properties. One of the lowest moisture absorption material, with very low thermal expansion. PPO also retains most of its flexural and tensile strength as well as its resistance to creep at elevated temperatures.

- High Continuous Temperature Environments (185 degrees F ; 265 degrees F)

Noryl Sheet:
.060″ – 6″ thick in 48″ X 96″ Sheets – EN-265 (Black only)
1/8″, 3/16″, and 1/4″ in 48″ X 96″ with Haircell finish one side in EN-185 (White or Black)
Film: .002″ – .029″ in up to 26″ wide rolls on special order basis
Noryl Rod: 1/8″ – 8″ diameter up to 96″ lengths
Special Formulations:
Glass Filled, Static Dissipative, Custom sizes, or Formulations
